How long does delivery take?

Most items in stock are dispatched within 1-2 business days. Delivery typically takes 2-5 business days depending on your location within South Africa.

You’ll receive tracking information via email once your order has been dispatched.

What about backorder items?

Items showing “Available on back-order” are sourced directly from our suppliers.

Backorder items typically take 3-4 weeks to arrive from China.

We’ll keep you updated on your order status via email throughout the process.

Do you deliver nationwide?

Yes, we deliver throughout South Africa via our trusted courier partners.

Delivery costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on your location and order weight.

What if my item is damaged during delivery?

While we package items securely, courier damage can occur. Please inspect your package upon delivery and report any damage to us within 3 days of receiving your order.

Can I track my order?

What warranty do you offer?

We provide a 6-month limited warranty on selected parts, subject to specific conditions:

  • Parts must be installed by an RMI-approved mechanic
  • Proper installation procedures must be followed
  • Service schedules must be maintained
  • Warranty documentation must be completed

What voids the warranty?

  • Installation by non-RMI approved mechanics
  • Negligence or incorrect installation
  • Failure to follow manufacturer’s service schedule
  • Not following specific installation requirements for certain parts
  • Physical damage due to accidents or misuse

Do you offer warranty on electrical items?

No refunds are provided on electrical items. However, our standard 6-month warranty may apply if installed correctly by an RMI-approved mechanic.

Electrical components are particularly sensitive to installation quality and electrical system compatibility.

🔧 Installation Requirements

Do I need a qualified mechanic for installation?

Yes, absolutely. For warranty coverage, all parts must be installed by an RMI-approved mechanic. This ensures proper installation and maintains your warranty protection.

Are there special requirements for certain parts?

Computer Modules & Keys (MG/Maxus):
Must be programmed by approved MG/Maxus mechanics using sanctioned diagnostic equipment.

Timing Belts:
Timing belt and tensioner must be replaced together for warranty coverage.

Cylinder Head Gaskets:
Cylinder head bolts must be replaced with the gasket.

Turbochargers:
Require specific installation procedures including oil system cleaning and proper priming.

Can I install parts myself?

While you’re welcome to install parts yourself, please note that self-installation voids all warranty coverage.

For complex parts or if you’re unsure, we strongly recommend using an RMI-approved mechanic to ensure proper installation and warranty protection.

Can I return a part if it doesn’t fit?

No refunds are given on parts correctly supplied. Please ensure you’ve verified part compatibility before ordering. We recommend consulting with an RMI-approved mechanic.

How long do I have to report problems?

All claims must be made within 3 days of the invoice date. After this period, no claims will be entertained.

How do I make a warranty claim?

  2. Complete our claim document with detailed information
  3. Provide proof of RMI-approved installation

We aim to resolve all complaints within 7-10 working days of receiving complete documentation.
