Description
Function of the Outer CV Joint
The outer CV joint connects the drive shaft to the wheel hub, delivering power to the wheel while allowing steering movement and suspension travel. It maintains constant velocity (smooth power delivery) even at extreme steering angles. A worn outer CV joint produces a distinctive clicking or clunking sound during tight turns, and if left unrepaired, can fail completely, causing loss of drive.
Why order it from Partszar
A slipping clutch, a clicking CV joint or a torn boot is a warning, not an inconvenience. Ignore it and it takes the flywheel, the drive shaft or the gearbox with it. Sort it now and it is one part, not a driveline rebuild.
