Description
Fitment side: Left (passenger side on South African right-hand-drive vehicles).
Function of the Shock Absorber/Strut
The shock absorber (or strut) controls the movement of the suspension springs, preventing the vehicle from bouncing excessively after hitting bumps. It converts kinetic energy from suspension movement into heat energy, providing a controlled, comfortable ride and maintaining tyre contact with the road. Worn shocks cause excessive bouncing, poor handling, longer stopping distances, uneven tyre wear, and a dangerous loss of stability at speed.
Why order it from Partszar
Worn suspension and steering parts creep up on you: vague steering, a clunk over bumps, tyres wearing on one edge. Left alone they chew through tyres and load the joints and bearings around them. Fitted, the vehicle tracks straight and feels tight again, and your family rides on a safe front end.
- Fitment checked before it is listed. Every part is cross-referenced against the official parts catalogue and OEM part number so it fits first time.
