- Warranty and Guarantee Conditions
General Terms
Partszar offers a limited 6-month guarantee on selected parts, subject to the following conditions:
- The part must be installed by a mechanic approved by the Retail Motor Industry Organisation (RMI).
- Damage resulting from negligence or incorrect installation is not covered.
- Partszar reserves the right to inspect the item and refuse warranty if it doesn’t meet these conditions.
Specific Conditions
- Applicability: All warranties or guarantees provided are contingent upon the installation of parts by a mechanic approved by the Retail Motor Industry Organisation (RMI).
- Computer Modules and Keys: Any computer modules, keys, or other components requiring programming for MG or Maxus vehicles must be handled exclusively by an approved MG / Maxus mechanic using a sanctioned diagnostic machine.
- Cylinder Head Gaskets: Warranty or guarantee on cylinder head gaskets is only applicable if the cylinder head bolts are replaced concurrently with the gasket. Failure to do so voids any warranty or guarantee.
- Timing Belts and Tensioners: Any warranty or guarantee on timing belts or tensioners is valid only if both components are replaced simultaneously.
- GWM VGT and WGT Engines: For warranties or guarantees to be valid on Great Wall Motors (GWM) VGT and WGT engines, the timing belt, tensioner, and water pump must be replaced in unison.
- MG 6 Starter Motor: In the case of MG 6 starter motor replacement, it is compulsory to replace the intake manifold gasket as well. Neglecting to do so will result in the warranty on the starter motor being rendered null and void.
- Service Schedule: Failure to follow the service schedule may result in damage to the engine and voiding of any applicable warranties or guarantees.
- Electrical Items – No Warranty or Refunds: No warranty, guarantee, or refunds are provided on any electrical or electronic components, including but not limited to: sensors (MAF, MAP, oxygen, crankshaft, camshaft, throttle position, ABS, airbag, etc.), ECU/ECM modules, ignition coils, alternators, starter motors, wiring harnesses, switches, relays, actuators, solenoids, or any other electrical parts. All electrical items are sold strictly “as-is” and are final sale. Professional diagnosis using appropriate diagnostic equipment is required before purchase. All electrical components must be installed by qualified, RMI-approved technicians. Self-installation or installation by unqualified personnel automatically voids any potential claims. Partszar accepts no liability for incorrect part selection due to misdiagnosis, damage from improper installation, or consequential damage to the vehicle. By purchasing electrical items, you confirm these items are non-returnable and that proper diagnosis and professional installation are your responsibility.
