Description
Function of the Window Regulator
The window regulator is the mechanism that moves the door window up and down, driven by an electric motor (power windows) or manual crank. It guides the glass along tracks to ensure smooth, even movement. A failed window regulator causes the window to drop into the door, move slowly or unevenly, make grinding sounds, or stop working entirely.
