Function of the Tail Lamp

The rear combination lamp houses the tail light, brake light, indicator and reversing light in one sealed unit, so it is the part that tells the driver behind you that you are slowing, stopping, turning or backing up. A cracked lens lets water in and corrodes the bulb holders, a faded or blown-out lamp is a roadworthy failure and a traffic fine, and a smashed one after a parking knock or a trailer hitch mishap leaves the back of the bakkie dark at night. This is a complete aftermarket left-hand rear combination lamp assembly for the passenger’s side, the kerb side of the load bin, supplied as a bolt-on replacement for the original unit.

Fits the original GWM P-Series Passenger double cab 4×4 with the GW4D20M 2.0 turbo diesel, as sold in South Africa from 2020. It is the left-hand lamp only; the right-hand lamp is listed separately. It is not the lamp for the P-Series Commercial single cab and double cab, which use a different rear lamp, and fitment to the newer P300 and P500 with the 2.4 turbo diesel is not confirmed.
